A Lifetime of Building Things That Matter

Before founding The Pookie Bear Foundation, I spent more than four decades building businesses, leading teams, and serving my community.

While my career took many different paths, the common thread was always the same:

Creating something meaningful that improves people's lives.

Today, I believe this work is exactly where I am meant to be.

Meet Our Founder

Catherine Webster

Why This Matters to Me.

Like many families, mine has experienced seasons of struggle, loss, and uncertainty.

Those experiences have deepened my compassion and strengthened my belief that children deserve honest, age-appropriate reassurance when life feels confusing.

I know that healing often begins with something simple; a conversation, a comforting presence, or someone who takes the time to say,

“You are loved. You are never to blame. And you are never alone.”

That belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Looking Ahead.

My dream is simple.

To place Pookie Bear Comfort Kits into the hands of children through schools, counselors, therapists, hospitals, community organizations, and caring donors.

If one child feels less afraid...
If one family finds it easier to start an important conversation...
If one bear reminds a child they are loved...

Then every step of this journey has been worth it.

Thank you for being here and for believing that even the smallest acts of kindness can leave a lifelong impact.

With gratitude,

Catherine Webster
